Ann Wilson fans who were jazzed to catch the Heart lead vocalist during her 2017 U.S. solo tour can whet their appetites with an upcoming online live stream. The 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will live stream her upcoming concert on March 19 at New Orlean's House of Blues.
MSO reports on March 15 in a press release that the concert will take place from 8:00-10:00 p.m. CT. The live stream event is free and all fans have to do is register here prior to the show to receive the online link to watch the performance.
The “Crazy on You” hitmaker launched the 20-city spring romp in her hometown on March 8 in Seattle at Moore Theatre. Dubbed “The Ann Wilson Of Heart Tour,” the trek is in continued support continued support of the multi-platinum seller's second solo EP “Ann Wilson Thing 2,” which dropped Aug. 12, 2016 via Rounder.
“No Heart song in this set is done as it was on the radio or album, Wilson recently told the Seattle Times. “I’m now at an age when I only want to do things that speak to me and on stuff I’ve done before, I’m trying to rediscover the beauty in each song.”
Fans can catch Wilson at the tour's next stop on March 16 in Salina, Kansas, at The Stiefel Theatre For Performing Arts. The Ann Wilson Of Heart Tour is scheduled to wrap up April 7 in Cranston, Rhode Island, at RI Center for the Arts at Park Theatre. Tickets for select Ann Wilson events are available at AXS.
Heart has been taking a breather since wrapping up their busy 2016 touring year. The pioneering Seattle rockers released their highly successful studio album Beautiful Broken on July 8 Concord Records and supported it with a headline U.S. summer tour along with Cheap Trick and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts that wrapped up last fall.
Heart co-founders Ann and Nancy Wilson have both been working on solo efforts since in 2017. While Ann is on the road, Nancy will perform solo dates with her new band Roadcase Royale and will be featured at the 2017 edition of Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp, which takes place June 29 - July 2 in Los Angeles.
