Shortly after the release of her latest album Sweetener last year, Grande revealed that she was already working on her follow-up. The aforementioned album featured hits like "No Tears Left to Cry," "God is a Woman" and "Breathin." In the thick of Sweetener cycle, she dropped the cozy kiss-off single "Thank U, Next," which became her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. That song previews her next album and it's already been perched at the top for seven weeks.
To keep the momentum going for "Thank U," Grande announced the special vinyl record release of the song. The flip side of the record will feature "Imagine," a magical, trap-lite love song where she returns to and slays her whistle register notes. That track will also be included on the next album. While fans wait for a release date for Sweetener's follow-up, they can own "Thank U" and "Imagine" on vinyl in the meanwhile.
Grande made history earlier this week as the youngest top-billed headliner on this year's Coachella lineup. She also released the bloopers from her famed "Thank U, Next" video on YouTube. Replying to a fan on Twitter, Ariana also revealed "Thank U" will formally be followed by the new single "7 Rings" later in the year.
