"7 Rings" is one of the singles from Grande's latest album Thank U, Next. The title track was the lead single and notched her seven weeks at the top Billboard's all-genre Hot 100 chart. "7 Rings" is on par to match her longest reign at No. 1, pulling in a sixth week in the pole position. Grande's trap music-influenced banger returns to the summit after last week's No. 1, the Jonas Brothers' "Sucker," takes a tumble to the No. 6 spot.
The success of "7 Rings" blocked Grande's latest single "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" from hitting No. 1 last month. Like Mariah Carey when her smash hit "We Belong Together" held the top spot from her other single "Shake it Off" in 2005, "7 Rings" denied "Break Up With Your Girlfriend" from hitting the Billboard Hot 100 summit. The week that happened, she became the first female artist to hold down the top three spots on chart with "7 Rings" at No. 1, "Break Up" at No. 2 and "Thank U, Next" at No. 3.
"7 Rings" and Grande's Thank U, Next album are now available on iTunes and Apple Music. She is currently on her Sweetener World Tour, which kicked off this week.
