Atlanta Gladiators acquire Carmine Guerriero from Manchester

The Atlanta Gladiators made a trade on Monday by acquiring goaltender Carmine Guerriero from the Manchester Monarchs. Guerriero was a member of the Monarchs, but did not play a game for Manchester this season. 

The Gladiators are however the fifth team from the ECHL this season that Guerriero has been a part of. He has also played one game each for the Idaho Steelheads and South Carolina Stingrays and four games for the Brampton Beast. In six games, Guerriero had a record of 0-2-1 with a goals against average of 3.25. 

The Gladiators are also promoting 80's night on March 15 against the Jacksonville Icemen (tickets) at the Infinite Energy Arena. Fans are encouraged to dress up in their favorite 1980s clothes, sing to karaoke and complete a Rubik's cube. There will also be special pricing for sodas ($1) and hot dogs ($2). 

The Gladiators are also encouraging fans to purchase a special 2018-19 ticket package by April 7. With the ticket package, fans will receive complimentary first round playoff tickets if the Gladiators are fortunate to make the 2018 Kelly Cup playoffs.
