Atlanta Gladiators to have equipment sale May 31

The Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL will have an equipment sale at the Infinite Energy Arena from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 31. The sale will take place inside the Gladiators locker room.

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase game-used equipment that the Gladiators players used during the 2017-18 ECHL season. Among the items that will be made available are sticks, helmets, practice jerseys, skates, locker room nameplates and gloves. New equipment items will also be made available for purchase.

The white Gladiators home jerseys that are not sold during the equipment sale will be up for auction with details coming at a later date. Remember that the Gladiators will be changing their logo and jerseys for the 2018-19 ECHL season. For more information on the Gladiators annual equipment sale, please click here.

There is no doubt that the Gladiators are helping grow hockey again in the Atlanta area. The National Hockey League moved the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg on June 21, 2011, after the Thrashers played 11 seasons in Atlanta. This was the second time the National Hockey League was in Atlanta. The Atlanta Flames were in the NHL from 1972  to 1980 before the franchise moved to Calgary.
