Atmosphere embark on fall 2018 tour

The Twin Cities is well known as being home to the one and only Prince.

This booming metropolis also births a growing, yet still, underground hip-hop scene and the artists coming out of this region are ready to take the world by storm. One of those happens to be Atmosphere, who for the past 29 years has strived to reshape the hip-hop world and bring it some northern exposure.

Considered “old school” in today’s age, Atmosphere’s sound still holds some weight in an age where the genre is moving aggressively into the pop realm. Made of Slug (b. Sean Daley) and Ant (b. Anthony Davis), the duo came on at a time when hip-hop’s commercial fortunes still rested in the Big Apple.

The Twin Cities, considered back then as a frozen backwater, wasn’t on no one’s minds, but over time, Atmosphere changed that. Today, the group is very influential to the shaping of today’s sound, and the duo has shown no signs of slowing down.

In fact, they will be hitting the road this fall to bring the old school back into the mainstream. Here’s the complete tour schedule and ticket information, and keep in mind that all dates and venues are subject to change.
