The summer sun might be shining bright but AXS TV is conjuring up some holiday cheer with a spectacular “Christmas in July” concert event on Saturday, July 28 starting at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT. The premier classic rock network will air 11 holiday-themed concerts from superstars across multiple music genres including Faith Hill, Rod Stewart, Twisted Sister, Heart, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Jennifer Nettles, Jessica Simpson, Michael McDonald and more.

Why should the magic of Christmas only come once a year? AXS TV’s daylong celebration of all things merry and bright begins on July 28 at 8 a.m. ET with “The Royal Variety Performance 2017” featuring a star-studded list of iconic music artists including Kelsey Grammar and the cast of “Big Fish,” alt-rockers The Killers, R&B legend Seal, British pop star James Blunt, former One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson, the West End cast of “Annie” and more.

At 10:30 a.m. ET, Grammy-winning country songstress Jennifer Nettles headlines a lovely holiday concert to support a great cause “Band Against Cancer Presents Jennifer Nettles: ‘Tis the Season.” Nettles delivers shimmering performances of holiday classics and modern favorites like “Go Tell It On the Mountain,” “O Holy Night” and “Merry Christmas with Love.”

Chris Isaak Christmas follows at 11:30 a.m. ET with an all-star list of guests singing indelible duets with the rockabilly legend including Michael Bublé on “The Christmas Song,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” with Brian McKnight, “Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town” with Stevie Nicks and many more. Former Doobie Brothers Michael McDonald is up next at 12:30 p.m. ET/9:30 a.m. PT with his heartwarming holiday special “Michael McDonald – This Christmas.” Hear a list of holiday favorites featuring McDonald’s signature soulful flair including “White Christmas,” “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and more.

“Jessica Simpson: Happy Christmas” airs next at 1:30 p.m. ET with another all-star lineup of guest performers including Willie Nelson, Carly Simon and her sister, Ashlee Simpson. Country music legend Faith Hill is backed by a stunning 31-piece orchestra, a choir, and a big band for “Faith Hill – Joy to the World” at 2:30 p.m. ET. Hill’s sweeping holiday set includes “Holly, Jolly Christmas,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Silent Night” and more.

There’s nobody like British native rock legend Rod Stewart! The beloved crooner delivers a bountiful list of holiday favorites including “We Three Kings,” “Silver Bells” and more in his star-studded special “Rod Stewart: Merry Christmas Baby” at 3:30 p.m. ET. Guests include Michael Bublé, Cee-Lo Green and Mary J. Blige.

Grammy-winning entertainer Brian Setzer puts a bold spin on Christmas as he serves up standards in his signature style like “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch,” and “The Nutcracker Suite” in “The Brian Setzer Orchestra: Christmas Rocks!” at 4:30 p.m. ET. Sisters of rock, Ann and Nancy Wilson – aka Heart, hit the stage in Seattle with some unconventional Christmas songs like “Santa’s Going South,” “Remember Christmas,” and “Ring Them Bells.” Guest stars include Sammy Hagar, Shawn Colvin, Richard Marx and more for “Heart & Friends: Home for the Holidays From Benaroya Hall” airing at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Next, at 7:30 p.m. ET, Trans-Siberian Orchestra delivers a haunting holiday tale which follows a young runaway “on a magical journey home” in “Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts of Christmas Eve.” The special “Christmas in July” holiday programming block closes at 8:30 p.m. ET with heavy metal icons Twisted Sister live in Las Vegas. The internationally-renowned metal band puts an indelible twist on songs like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” in the rowdy 2007 holiday romp “A Twisted Christmas: Live in Las Vegas.”
