AXS TV’s exciting fall programming lineup kicks off with the return of the U.S. broadcast of “The X Factor UK” for its fifth consecutive year with the two-night season 15 premiere airing on Sept. 2 and Sept. 3 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Riveting profile series “Rock Legends” returns on Oct. 2 along with “The Big Interview with Dan Rather, an all-new original series “The Day the Rock Star Died” launches and more. “The X Factor UK” season 15 premiere – 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT

The excitement keeps building for the American return of “The X Factor UK” to AXS TV. The season 15 premiere airs over two nights, Sept. 2 and 3, as the search for the next global superstar begins in a whole new season. This year, former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson joins show boss and veteran judge Simon Cowell, along with panel newbies Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Williams. Sharon Osbourne will return to judge live shows as a series-first fifth judge and lovable presenter Dermot O’Leary returns to host.

Last year, R &B sensations Rak-Su took home the top prize while indie singer-songwriter Grace Davies snagged second place. Be sure to tune in on Sunday, Sept. 2 to watch all the action unfold and get involved in the broadcast using #UKintheUSA on social media.


“Rock Legends” – weekly at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT

Entertaining and informative profile series “Rock Legends” return to launch “True Story Tuesdays” each Tuesday beginning Oct. 2 on AXS TV. The series presents in-depth profiles of some of music’s biggest stars using expert interviews, rare archival footage and iconic performance clips. Artists covered this season include ZZ Top, Chicago, Journey, Marvin Gaye, Pat Benatar and more.

“The Day the Rock Star Died” – weekly at 8: 30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT

“The Day the Rock Star Died” is an all-new original profile series which delves deeply into the lives and legacies of music artists who left us much too soon. Interviews with loved ones, friends and fans explore the late artists’ prolific careers and the impact they left on the world. Featured artists include Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Buddy Holly and more.

“The Big Interview with Dan Rather” – weekly at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT

Award-winning newsman and AXS TV host Dan Rather returns for the second half of “The Big Interview’s” sixth season. Rather’s unique, laid-back interview style has helped many superstars open up about their lives, careers and other personally important moments for the past six seasons. The upcoming installment of the acclaimed series features a multitude of famous interviewees including Ringo Starr in the 100th episode kickoff, Buddy Guy, Rod Stewart, Kenny Loggins, Joan Baez, Toby Keith and more.

“Docs That Rock” – weekly at 10 p.m.ET/7 p.m. PT

AXS TV will present a different music-focused documentary each week via which viewers will have an in-depth and intimate look at some iconic artists and bands. The upcoming series installment will explore the life of the late, great record producer George Martin, who is known best for his extensive work with The Beatles in the film “Produced by George Martin.” Other documentaries include “Springsteen and I,” “Rise and Fall of The Clash,” “John Mellencamp: It’s About You” and more.


“Nothing But Trailers” – 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT

Movie buffs can get a glimpse of some of the year’s biggest upcoming films when “Nothing But Trailers” moves to Thursday nights on Sept. 6. Get your popcorn ready and tune in to see what’s playing at a theater near you.


“Saturday Stack” – weekly, half-day themed coverage – start times vary

Sizzling “Saturday Stack” programming rosters return each Saturday, starting on Sept. 1 with a “Women of Country” lineup, followed by “Greatest Rock Drummers” on Sept. 8, “Docs That Rock Marathon” on Sept. 15, “Farm Aid Artists” on Sept. 15, “Led Zeppelin 50th Anniversary” on Sept. 29, “The Beatles” on Oct. 6, “Sammy Hagar’s Birthday Celebration” on Oct. 13, “The Doors” Oct. 20 and “Queen” on Oct. 27.


“Farm Aid 2018” – 7 p.m. ET till Midnight

“Farm Aid” returns to AXS TV for its fifth consecutive year. Farm Aid founder and music legend Willie Nelson will host the family farm-focused musical charity event and a legion of stars are turning out to support it including Farm Aid board members John Mellencamp, Neil Young and Dave Matthews along with country superstars Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Kacey Musgraves and more.
