AXS TV launches new episodes of 'The Top Ten Revealed,' series premiere of 'Trunkfest' on July 1

Rock fans can gear up for some hot summer programming as AXS TV’s exciting original countdown series “The Top Ten Revealed” returns with all-new episodes and the series premiere of “Trunkfest” with Eddie Trunk launches on July 1. “The Top Ten Revealed” host and executive producer Katie Daryl will lead viewers on a brand-new social-media voted countdown of rock music’s most epic “Songs About Sex” at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Then, acclaimed music historian and “Trunkfest” host Eddie Trunk will launch AXS TV’s new music festival-focused series at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT.

First, music maven Katie Daryl guides viewers through a social media-voted ranking of the most iconic rock “Songs About Sex” in the summer kickoff episode of AXS TV’s hit countdown series, “The Top Ten Revealed.” A seasoned, rotating panel of music artists and experts will offer commentary on the tracks that made the list. The series launch ranked “Guitar Rock Intros. Other rankings included “80s Rock Ballads,” "Vietnam Era Songs," and more. Experts include Lita Ford, Pantera co-founder and drummer Vinnie Paul, rock historian Eddie Trunk, and more.

Upcoming countdowns include Epic Songs of ’73 on July 8, (highlighting hits of Elton John, The Eagles and The Who), One Hit Wonders on July 15 and more. AXS TV “Real Money” star and rock legend Eddie Money is among the upcoming series guest.

At 9:30 p.m. ET, Eddie Trunk travels to the legendary “Sturgis Motorcycle Rally” in Sturgis, South Dakota, where he’ll conduct an exclusive interview with George Thorogood and he’ll learn a lesson in motorcycle stunts and go behind-the scenes of renowned daredevil Doug Danger’s spine-tingling Rattlesnake jump. Trunk will also attend the Voodoo Music + Arts Festival in New Orleans on July 8, in which he takes a terrifying trip through a haunted house, eats a fried Oreo for the first time and hooks up with Foo Fighters member Taylor Hawkins.

Trunk will also connect with Tom Morello, Chuck D, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford to discuss their super group Prophets of Rage. During a trip to Castaway with Southern Ground in Mexico, Trunk will chat with renowned Southern Rockers Blackberry Smoke and country superstars Zac Brown Band.
