In the upcoming episode, the Red Rocker heads out to Waco, Texas to catch up with hard rock legend Ted Nugent at his ranch. In a sneak peek video clip of their time together, Nugent takes Hagar on a wild off-road adventure in his 1974 Ford Bronco.
As Hagar gets into the vehicle he says, “C’mon Ted, don’t kill me. I’m valuable.” Nugent assures him, “I love you too much … I’ll be gentle.” The pair of pals whoop and wail as Nugent charges off-road and plows through mud, up hills, through brush and more.
During the interview, Nugent discusses how a lifetime of sobriety is the key to his happiness. He also talks about his iconic guitar solo from “Stranglehold,” how James Brown influenced Nugent’s musical style and why he feels Keith Richards is the greatest musician on the planet. They also bust into a must-see jam of "Jenny Take A Ride."
Overall, Nugent has curated an iconic music career for 50 years and counting. Through the years, he’s delivered a bevy of huge hits to his avid listeners and captive live audiences including “Cat Scratch Fever,” “Wango Tango,” “Motor City Madhouse,” and so many more. The Michigan native artist is truly one-of-a-kind.
