Rock-pop singer Børns has got some busy couple of months ahead of him. The “Electric Love” singer will continue touring throughout North America, the U.K., Europe and even Russia throughout the remainder of the fall. The first few weeks of his 2018 will be equally as busy (and fun), as Børns will now be touring North America at the beginning new year, starting with a show on Jan. 17 at Oakland’s Fox Theater.
The new run of 2018 tour dates, which covers 22 total concerts over a one month schedule, will see Børns performing across Canada and most of the central U.S. before closing out with some shows in major northeast cities come mid-February. Notable stops on the wintertime run includes Seattle’s Showbox SoDo on Jan. 21, Brooklyn Steel on Feb. 15 and then across the river to New York City’s Terminal 5 the following night on Feb. 16. It won’t be the warmest tour routing, as most shows will take place up north in the dead of winter, but having grown up in western Michigan, surely Børns can handle the colder temps at this point.
The winter tour coincides perfectly with the upcoming release of his sophomore album, which is reportedly set to arrive sometime in January. Børns has already released a pair of singles so far in 2017 with “Faded Heart” and “Sweet Dreams,” and fans should expect at least one more to come with an album announcement before the year comes to a close. Since releasing his debut album in Dopamine back in October 2015, the 25-year-old singer has become one of the bigger growing names in the indie-pop scene.
