Babymetal fans rejoice! The Japanese pop-metal band has unleashed a new single "Elevator Girl" along with unveiling plans for a 20-city U.S. tour. The tour runs from early September through mid-October with special guests Avatar.
The wildly popular trio dropped the big news on May 10 via Facebook after teasing the single's release last month. "Elevator Girl" is the lead release from the Babymetal's as-yet-untitled follow-up to their 2016 sophomore studio album Metal Resistance, which will hit shelves later in 2019 via Earmusic.
The fall romp will launch Sept. 4 in Orlando, Florida, at Hard Rock Live. The "Distortion" hitmakers will rock numerous major cities with big shows on Sept. 15 in New York at Terminal 5, as well as Sept. 27 in Denver at Ogden Theatre, before wrapping up Oct. 16 in Seattle at The Paramount Theatre.
Select presales will begin on Monday, May 13th at 10am local time. Tickets go on sale to the public starting Friday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Grab your tickets right here at AXS.
Prior to the U.S. tour, Babymetal will also perform a one-off U.K. show on July 2 in London at O2 Academy Brixton. Tickets are available now at AXS. Fans can check out the new thrash-pop single "Elevator Girl" above.
