Bastille announces Doom Days Tour 2019

Bastille has a lot of awesome news for fans in one day, from new music to tour dates.

The band announced a tour this fall in support of upcoming album Doom Days. They'll hit the road starting in mid-September and will continue through October, with stops in Los AngelesNew YorkRichmond, Detroit and Denver. Tickets will be on sale right here on AXS, with select dates available starting Friday, May 3, and others a week later on Friday, May 10. All on sales begin at 10 a.m. local time, and all tickets include a physical copy of Bastille's new album, Doom Days. AXS Premium seating and American Express offers are also available.

Doom Days is slated for released on June 14 and is available for pre-order now. Bastille is giving fans a preview with new single and album closer "Joy," which is included with the pre-order as a digital download along with the previously released "Quarter Past Midnight" and title track "Doom Days."

"That glimmer of hope at the end of the album says everything," frontman Dan Smith said of "Joy" in a statement to Rolling Stone. "The smallest human gesture can pull you back from the brink."

While Doom Days is the band's first release since 2016's Wild World, Smith collaborated more recently with producer and DJ Marshmello and loaned his vocals to the hit "Happier."
