Beach House took to Instagram on Feb. 14 to share a new song called “Lemon Glow” from a yet-to-be-named upcoming album. The Baltimore native indie rockers started the Valentine's Day post caption by saying, “Wishing everyone out there love tonight.”

The psychedelic, strobing black-and-white imagery in the video for the audio-only version of the track mirror the acidic synth line that drives the song. Beach House vocalist Victoria Legrand sings about making an intense connection with a lover. She describes a lemon aura in the hook saying, “When you turn the lights down low/Lemon color, honey glow.”

Beach House released their fifth studio album, Depression Cherry, in August 2015 and followed it two months later with their sixth studio album Thank Your Lucky Stars. Depression Cherry received high critical acclaim, landing on several 2015 album rankings, including a No. 33 spot on Rolling Stone's 50 Best Albums of 2015 list. It also topped Billboard’s Independent Albums and Top Rock Albums Charts in the U.S. Beach House toured in a string of international shows last year and also released a compilation album called B-Sides and Rarities.

A firm release date for the dream pop band’s untitled seventh studio album has not yet been confirmed, but it is slated for release sometime this spring. Listen to “Lemon Glow” in the embedded video above and stay tuned to AXS for Beach House news and updates.
