Comedian Bert Kreischer will be heading out on his first ever global trek when his Body Shots World Tour kicks off early next year on Jan. 10 in Portland, Oregon. The lengthy tour will see the popular stand-up comic performing across the U.S. and Canada throughout much of January, February and March before heading over to Europe and the U.K. for the international leg in late April and early May.

The announcement of Kreischer’s upcoming world tour comes just weeks after his “Secret Time” Netflix special arrived back on Aug. 24. The party-friendly comedian, who typically performs his stand-up routines without a shirt on, will continue to promote his wildly fun brand and material at the New York Comedy Festival, which takes place in just a few weeks on Nov. 5-11. Notable stops on the upcoming tour include scheduled performances at Florida’s Tampa Theatre and Parker Playhouse, in addition to the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, DC on March 14. Tickets to select shows on Kreischer’s 2019 world tour are on sale now and can be purchased by clicking here.

“I started doing it because I would be on the road, and it was a weird way to get my head in the game,” Kreischer admitted to AXS in an interview last month when asked where the shirtless schtick came from. “I’d go up and rip my shirt off and it’d make me giggle at just how silly it is, and I’d put it back on. Then one night in Columbus, I ripped it off and I kept it off. When I went to go put it on midway through the show, this woman goes, ‘keep it off!’ I was like, ‘all right.’”

Kreischer recently wrapped up a five-night residency at San Jose’s Improv Comedy Club, while he’s scheduled to begin a three-night, six-show stand at the Funny Bone in Omaha, Nebraska next week. His 2018 campaign includes a handful of national performances scheduled to continue up until the end of the year on Dec. 30.
