Cinco de Mayo is coming, and many are gearing up to celebrate this sacred holiday by finding the nearest bar and downing tequilas.
Though that does sound like a worthy plan, there are other ways to ring in Cinco de Mayo, especially in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where workers take a personal day just to do this fun holiday right. Jmblya will bring in heavy hitters such as Cardi B and Migos; and Texas artists will be fully represented as well, with acts such as Bun B and Trae Tha Truth bringing the Texas flavor to Fair Park.

Light Farms in Celina, TX will host Saturday in the Park, which will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a fiesta featuring the theme from Disney & Pixar Coco. With live music, face painting, food trucks and more, this will be an exciting event for the entire family.
Comedy is the cure to all things, and on Cinco de Mayo, some of comedy’s funniest acts will hit the stage at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie for a night of pure laughs. The Platinum Comedy Tour will bring such acts as Mike Epps and DeRay Davis among others that will surely fill the Grand Prairie sky with laughter.
