The Grammy-award winning band has multiple number one hits and the concert at The Rustic is advertised as the Off the Rails Country Music Fest pre-party, leading to the two-day concert event at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco. Music fans in the Dallas and Fort Worth area who want to enjoy a traditional Cinco de Mayo concert this year just needs to head over to Grand Prairie and the Verizon Theatre. The Fiesta Tecaliso is hosted by the U.S.-Mexico Cultural and Educational Foundation and includes popular mariachi band Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán as they perform with the backing of the Irving Symphony Orchestra. Tickets for this show are available through AXS and range from $40 to $75.
For people who want to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a more mainstream concert, the Granada Theatre is hosting a concert with The New Pornographers performing. The show is hosted by KXT 91.7 and also includes opening band Waxahatchee. The New Pornographers just released a brand new album in April called Without Conditions, the first release on the band's new personal music label. Cinco de Mayo is also the time for the JMBLYA music festival to kick off. This is a hip=hop show for music fans that features Chance the Rapper as the headlining act. Also appearing at the show are names like Gucci Mane, Steve Aoki, Migos, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. The two-day event concert kicks off at noon on May 5 and costs $89 for general admission tickets and they are available here.There is also a $10 price to park at Fair Park.
