Vans Warped Tour

General-admission tickets are $39.50.

San Antonio Reggae Festival 2017

Reggae music is among the quintessential sounds of summer, and you can enjoy a full day of it with San Antonio's Reggae Festival--plus food, art, beer, ad more. Tickets are $20 in advance, $30 at the gate, and attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good to benefit the local food bank. Children 12 and under get in free. Tickets can be purchased at The Reggae Bar in San Antonio.

San La Muerte Fest

The summer festival season isn't just for pop stars and rock bands--fans of genres like punk can enjoy the San La Muerte Fest, spanning three days in San Antonio. Passes for the entire festival cost $70, while Thursday passes are $25 and Friday and Saturday passes are $36.

Miranda Lambert

Although San Antonio offers plenty of live music this summer, you can head to nearby New Braunfels to take in a number of outdoor concerts throughout the rest of the season. Country star Miranda Lambert will bring her Highway Vagabond tour to the Whitewater Amphitheater for two nights, August 4 and 5.  Tickets start at $57 and although they are sold out, you might get lucky on the ticket exchange site.
