After touring extensively in support of their 2015 studio album Coma Ecliptic, prog metal giants Between The Buried And Me spent last summer working on the highly anticipated follow up. Today, the band revealed plans to release Automata, which will be a two-part album. The first part of the record will be released on March 9. The second portion will drop later this year. The first single from the album will be released soon.

The group also announced a headlining tour throughout the U.S. with support from fellow prog rockers The Dear Hunter and Leprous. Kicking off on March 2, the tour will make its way to Denver's Ogden Theatre on March 5, The Showbox in Seattle on March 8, San Francisco's Regency Ballroom on March 10, Philadelphia's Electric Factory on March 31, Boston's Royale on April 3, New York City's Playstation Theater on April 4 and Cleveland's Agora Theatre on April 6. The full tour routing can be seen below.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday (Jan. 19) at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages are on sale right now, and they include a special split 7-inch from Between The Buried and Me and The Dear Hunter and early entry.
