Comedian Bill Burr will continue what has been a pretty packed 2017 with some additional stand-up performances throughout the fall. Burr’s scheduled performance at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater on Saturday night will be the first of 11 more shows still remaining on his yearly to-do list, which will come to a close on Dec. 16 at the Bob Carr Theater in Orlando, FL.
The veteran comic from the Boston area continues to tour and delivery hilarious material on a yearly basis, having already performed 30+ shows across the country since this past February. His busy schedule also includes a starring role on his own Monday Morning Podcast, which he’s produced and hosted since 2007. As the world of podcasting has become a staple of on-the-go entertainment for various personalities, including comics, Burr’s show has become one of the top choices by iTunes fan subscribers.
Burr’s also been a big name in the world of on-demand television recently. His popular animated show on Netflix, F Is for Family, celebrated the premiere of its second season back in May. The show was picked up for a third season a month later, and will presumably arrive sometime in later in 2018.
“The goal was to do something original,” Burr said about his hit Netflix show during an interview earlier this year. “It would’ve been a challenge if it was just me by myself. We got Emily Towers. We got Dave Richardson. I got Murderer’s Row in our writer’s room, so that was not a problem.”
