Billy Joel will achieve yet another milestone in his storied career as he continues his hugely successful monthly run at The World's Most Famous Arena in 2018. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has announced a record-breaking 50th consecutive performance to take place March 28 in New York at Madison Square Garden.
The six-time Grammy winner dropped the big news on Nov. 9 at his official Billy Joel website. The show was added by popular demand after The Piano Man quickly sold out his first 2018 date, scheduled for Jan. 11 at The Garden after announcing his decision to renew his long-running MSG residency, during a TV appearance last month on ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Presales for the March 28 show will go on sale starting Mon., Nov. 13 at 10:00 a.m. EST through Thurs., Nov. 16 at 10:00 p.m. EST. Tickets go on sale to public starting Fri., Nov. 17 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Tickets for all of Billy Joel's appearances at The Garden are available at AXS.
The “Just the Way You Are” hitmaker has also been fleshing out his 2018 road schedule both at home and abroad. Joel recently added shows on Feb. 9 in Tampa, Fla., at Amalie Arena, as well as an overseas date, slated for June 30 in Hamburg, Germany, at Volksparkstadion Stadium. Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
Fans in The Big Apple can catch their hometown hero during his next residency show on Nov. 18 at The Garden. The multi-platinum seller's next road stop will take place Nov. 29 in Salt Lake City at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
