Country music star Blake Shelton released a new video entitled “I’ll Name the Dogs” on Sept. 8. The wedding themed video was reportedly inspired by Shelton’s love for Gwen Stefani, whose two oldest sons appear in cameos as dancing wedding guests, according to People Country.

“I’ll Name the Dogs” features heartwarming images of a family dressing for a wedding, dancing, clicking champagne glasses. Blake plays the wedding band singer, while the family and friends celebrate the nuptials. Gwen Stefani’s two oldest sons, Kingston, 10, and Zuma, 8, can be seen wearing white suits, smiling, and dancing along with the other guests.

Blake and Gwen have not announced any plans to marry, but the video seems to hint at a wedding. Stefani’s  excited Twitter response was “Eeeeeeeeek!” Could the song be construed as a public proposal? It is possible.

“You find the spot and I’ll find the money/ You be the pretty and I’ll be the funny/ You plant the flowers, I’ll plant the kisses/ Baby let’s get right down to business/ I’ll hang the pictures/ you hang the stars. You pick the paint, I’ll pick a guitar/ Sing you a song out there with the crickets and frogs/ You name the babies and I’ll name the dogs, yeah.”

“I’ll Name the Dogs” is Shelton’s first new music since his 2016 album If I’m Honest.

Shelton will be co-hosting the televised benefit concert for Hurricane Harvey relief, in “Hand in Hand: A  Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief.” Blake will host the portion of the show broadcast from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, while George Strait will host the event live from Majestic Theater in San Antonio, Texas.  The telethon will be broadcast on multiple television stations, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CMT, according to CMT.

Shelton will be returning to the coaches’ chair on NBC’s hit talent competition “The Voice” on Sept. 25. Stefani will not be returning as a coach this season. In addition to Shelton, this season’s coaches will include Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, and Miley Cyrus.

Stefani has three children with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Shelton was previously married to country star Miranda Lambert, but the marriage ended in divorce in 2015.
