Country music fans nationwide know Bobby Bones as host of the hugely popular radio show The Bobby Bones Show. However, Bones is multi-talented, as he has written a best-selling book--Bare Bones: I'm Not Lonely If You're Reading This Book--and records music with The Raging Idiots. As if he weren't busy enough, he's also a stand-up comedian and this year, Bones will launch an all-new tour.
Bobby Bones Red Hoodie Comedy Tour will launch on March 17 at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs, CO. He'll remain on the road intermittently before wrapping up the tour on June 23 at the Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce, FL. In 2017, Bones sold out shows across the nation as part of the Funny & Alone Stand Up Comedy Tour. In spite of his wildly successful day job, the radio host says that he still gets a thrill from stand-up, which he started in his teenage years.
"I'm up there alone, telling stories from my life and sharing observations from my warped mind," Bones said in a press release announcing his new tour. "It's all about honesty and awkwardness. I can't react to something my partner has just said, because there's no one else up there with me. I love the challenge. I love running the risk of failing at something, because if you fail, at least it means you're trying."
Given his successful track record in other mediums, we have little reason to believe Bones will fail at this endeavor. Check out the dates for the Bobby Bones Red Hoodie Comedy Tour and get a taste of what to expect in the video embedded above.
