Brian McKnight, one of the most decorated and successful artists of the last 25 years will be bringing his R&B hits to the City National Grove of Anaheim on Feb. 11. The show will be part of a select run of North American concerts that McKnight is scheduled to perform throughout January and February of this year.
The 48-year-old recording artist, songwriter and producer started his career back in the early 1990s. He would ultimately find mainstream success with chart-topping singles throughout the decade including a 1993 duet alongside Vanessa Williams in “Love Is,” “One Last Cry" and 1999’s “Back at One,” which would go on to be his highest selling career single. From 1999 until 2005, Brian released four studio albums which would all go on to crack the top 10 on the “Billboard” 200 Album Sales chart.
McKnight released two albums back-to-back over the past few years with Better in 2016 and Genesis just this past August. He spent much of this past spring and fall touring across North America in support of his 13th studio album, which marked the 25-year anniversary of his debut self-titled LP. More recently (and personally) McKnight celebrated the new year by marrying fiancé Leilani Malia Mendoza at the Oheka Castle on Long Island just this past Sunday. He wasn't shy on sharing plenty of photos from the ceremony and reception on his Instagram, letting his followers know the wedding was the "Happiest day of [their] lives."
Tickets for his Feb. 11 concert at the City National Grove will be starting pre-sale this Thursday at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can click here to purchase tickets, as well as more information on McKnight.
