Broken Social Scene announce 2018 North American tour

Canadian indie rockers Broken Social Scene are hitting the road this spring in support of their latest album, Hug of Thunder, their first LP since 2010's Forgiveness Rock Record

Dates kick off Mar. 23 in Austin, Texas and wraps up April 8 in Montclair, N.J. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 AM. The band teamed up with Plus1 to donate $1 from each ticket sold to the organization, Partners in Health. In addition to their headline tour, Broken Social Scene will also play various festivals this year, including Bonnaroo in June, Pickathon Festival in August, and My Morning Jacket's One Big Holiday in March. 

Hug of Thunder was released in July 2017, which made it to the number three spot on Billboard's US Independent Albums chart. Last year, they went a fall North American tour marking their first time touring across the country in six years.
