Brooklyn Steel will host Canadian punk rock duo Death From Above at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25 with special guest The Beaches.

Death From Above, who recently changed their name back from Death from Above 1979, will perform selections from third studio long-player, Outrage! Is Now, which emerged back on Sept. 8 on Last Gang Records. The album, recorded with producer Eric Valentine, who previously worked with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age and Taking Back Sunday, hit No. 20 on the Canadian Billboard charts. Outrage! Is Now is supported by the singles “Freeze Me,” “Never Swim Alone,” and “Holy Books.”

The Physical World, the duo’s previous release, dropped in September 2014 on Last Gang Records and Warner Bros. Records and spawned the singles “Trainwreck 1979,” “Government Trash,” and “Virgins.”

Death From Above released their debut full-length, You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine, in October 2004 on Vice Records and Last Gang Records. Three singles followed: “Romantic Rights,” “Blood on Our Hands,” and “Black History Month.”

The Beaches, an all-female alt-rock band hailing from Canada, will open the show. The band, which is signed to Island Records, has previously performed alongside acts like Eagles of Death Metal,  July Talk, Kings of Leon, Arkells, Mother Mother and more.

Tickets are $28 in advance, $31 day of the show and can be purchased here at AXS.com. Every pair of tickets purchased includes a standard digital copy of Death From Above’s most recent album, OUTRAGE! Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 16 & over event.
