BTS announces new album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA'

K-pop superstars BTS is wasting no time and are preparing to release a new album. The group has announced their new LP, titled MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA, will be out April 12. This marks their first release since they completed their Love Yourself album trilogy last summer.

The title of the album was previously hinted to during an introductory video ahead of the group's performance at the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Hong Kong. 

Pre-orders for MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA will start Wed. March 13. 

The album will be released ahead of the group’s upcoming Love Yourself: Speak Yourself world tour, which finds them playing stadiums throughout North and South Americas, Europe, and Asia. Shows kick off May 4 in Los Angeles, California and will make stops in Chicago, New Jersey, and Japan. The tour concludes July 14 in Shizuoka, Japan. Most tickets are sold out while tickets for Japan dates are coming soon. 

Recently, BTS member Suga produced a new track for Epik High called "Eternal Sunshine." Check out the lyric video here.

Last year saw the release of Love Yourself: Answer, which peaked at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The album spawned the single "Idol."
