BTS has set another record by becoming the first K-pop band to ever score a Top 40 spot on the UK Singles Chart. The internationally-beloved boyband’s most recent track “Idol” falls just short of the Top 20 on the chart, coming in at No. 21 for the chart dated Aug. 31, Official Charts reports.

This chart position beats BTS’ previous UK Singles Chart best of No. 42 with “Fake Love,” which was released in May of this year from the group's third studio album Love Yourself: Tear. Both versions of “Idol,” the original album track and the Nicki Minaj collab rendition, count toward the chart ranking having reportedly garnered 4,000 digital downloads and 2.5 million streams.

BTS also recently smashed a YouTube record by earning the biggest 24-hour debut in the video platform’s history by clocking in over 45 million views within the first 24 hours of the “Idol” music video’s release. “Idol” is the lead single from the group’s latest album, Love Yourself: Answer, which dropped the same day as the “Idol” video, on Aug. 24. The digital album contains an alternative version of the track which features Grammy-nominated rap superstar Nicki Minaj.

BTS is currently touring to support their new album on the Love Yourself World Tour. The band will perform at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California for four non-consecutive nights on Sept. 5 (Tickets), Sept. 6. (Tickets), Sept. 8 (Tickets), and Sept. 9 (Tickets).
