BTS to release doll collection with Mattel toy brand

K-pop stars BTS are adding a brand new product line to their successful career brand. Global fans can now anticipate a specialty doll collection representing their group in the works. 

According to sources, BTS has officially signed a manufacturing agreement with global toy company, Mattel. BTS and Mattel have come together in a global licensing deal with the toy manufacturer being given global rights to design and manufacture toys, dolls and games representing the hit K-pop ensemble. This includes an upcoming official BTS doll collection that will include each of their star members: RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

BTS is the first K-pop group to successfully chart at the number one status on the Billboard Top 200 chart. In addition, Jimin's recent solo track release, "Promise," broke Soundcloud's streaming charts with over 8.5 million streams in one day's time. The viral success of the record places Jimin at the number one position on Soundcloud's streaming numbers above Drake. BTS continues to break records showing their strength as a solid musical ensemble with hit tracks and a loyal fan base around the world.
