Garage rock band Bully have shared a new song titled “Running." The inner-analytical track acts as the second single from their upcoming sophomore studio album, Losing, which is currently set for an Oct. 20 release via Sub Pop.
The new single, which can be heard above, translates singer Alicia Bognano’s inner struggle with emotional procrastination. In a statement to go with the song’s announcement on Wednesday, Bognano explained that “‘Running’ is about shamelessly keeping yourself distracted or making up excuses to avoid processing certain emotions."
Nothing like ignoring those emotions in hopes that they go away on their own, right Alicia?
The new song also came with 11 additional North American concert dates, which will now keep the band touring across the country throughout the first few months of 2018. The band had previously revealed their 2017 fall tour dates with their initial album announcement back in early Aug. In addition to joining some of the biggest names in rock at the Cal Jam 17 Music Festival in San Bernardino, Calif. on Oct 7, Bully's 35-show run includes some notable headlining gigs of their own at New York’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on Nov. 13 and Atlanta’s Terminal West a month later on Dec. 13.
