The 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards take place on Oct. 10 in Miami and will feature a huge contingent from Florida hitting the stage and performing their latest hits. Billboard reported that Florida superstars Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Plies, Yo Gotti, Trina, T-Pain, Playboi Carti and Flo Rida will all be performing some of their biggest hits during the ceremony.

Other big names that will take over the stage include DJ Khaled, Migos and Cardi B. Khaled is one of the top names when it comes to nominations at the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards. He has nine nominations, the same as Cardi B and Kendrick Lamar

The biggest name in hip-hop music that night might be Uncle Luke. Old-school hip-hop fans know Uncle Luke by his real name of Luther Campbell or even further back as the lead singer of Luke Skywalker and the 2 Live Crew. In the '80s, he helped usher in the era of hip-hop with risque lyrics and sexual innuendos in his songs. The 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards honors Uncle Luke with their "I am hip-hop award."

The 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards takes place on Oct. 6 and will air on television at 8 p.m. ET. The ceremony takes place at the Filmore, Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami.
