Charlie Wilson is 'In It to Win It' on fall tour

Nobody can say that Charlie Wilson isn’t still doing his thing on the stage today. After several decades as the lead vocalist of The Gap Band, the R&B crooner went out on his own in 2004 and hasn’t lost any steam. By performing “Uncle Charlie,” which was first penned by Snoop Dogg, Wilson keeps the Gap Band name alive at his shows, but also demonstrates that as a solo artist, he's kept his finger on the pulse of modern R&B without losing that back-in-the-day charm.

That’s what makes Uncle Charlie so lovely to listen to. He can meld the current systematics of today’s R&B with that of the old days, and make it sound just as smooth as ever. Wilson has recently added more dates to his “In It to Win It” tour, and you should definitely grab your tickets for what promises to be one heck of a show with music’s favorite uncle.
