Chattanooga's Riverbend announces headliners

Every summer over half a million people hit the streets of downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee to enjoy great music and fabulous food, with the breathtaking view of America’s Scenic City glowing in the background. Riverbend 2017 will take place over eight days, offering five stages with more than 100 bands featuring world class entertainment. This year, country artists Toby Keith and Old Dominion will be headlining artists for the event. The festival will take place from June 9 until June 17 and continues to grow in attendance each year.

One of the eight days of music will be dedicated completely to the Jazz and Blues, and highlight Chattanooga’s storied past with these genres during the Bessie Smith Strut Night on the historic M.L. King Blvd. The country group Old Dominion will take to the Coca-Cola  stage on Saturday, June 11 at 9:45 p.m. and Toby Keith will be hitting that same stage on Friday, June 16 at 9:00 p.m. Other performers announced to be on various stages throughout the event will be Brett Young on June 14 and The Purple Xperience with a tribute to Prince on June 15. The festival will wrap up with one of the region’s best fireworks displays that is sure to dazzle every visitor to the event.

Located near the Tennessee River, the festival has become known for their wide variety of performers covering almost every music genre. The event has grown from five nights, in 1982, to the current event which includes eight nights of music and local foods.
