Chris Brown has embodied staying power.

After a rough patch both in his career and personal life, Brown has roared back into the R&B spotlight. His Heartbreak on a Full Moon LP was one of R&B’s underappreciated albums of 2017. Now that his recording career is healing, he’s hitting the road again for his Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour.

Brown let the cat-out-of-the-bag last month on his Twitter feed, and fans have been salivating ever since. To support him on his crisscross of the nation, Brown is bringing with him young guns who have helped reshape the R&B and rap landscape.

First up is 6lack (b. Ricardo Valdez Valentine), and Atlanta native who made some noise on his debut LP Free 6lack, which produced the surprise hit “Prblms.” Next up is H.E.R., the once-elusive songstress who seemingly came out of nowhere with her stellar self-titled debut. Last, but certainly not least, is Rich the Kid, who has made a name for himself in the mixtape world and found a hit with “New Freezer,” teaming up with one of the kings of hip-hop, Kendrick Lamar.
