Earlier this month, English house DJ Chris Lake announced that he’ll be touring the United States and Canada this fall. As part of the Lose My Mind tour, Lake will we performing shows at venues in Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and Brooklyn N.Y.’s iconic independent music venue Music Hall of Williamsburg. Lake got his start in the music industry in the early 2000s by producing acclaimed remixes of songs by high profile acts like The Prodigy. In the latter part of the decade, he began producing original material and his 2007 anthemic single “Carry Me Away,” featuring Australian singer-songwriter Emma Hewitt, debuted at number 10 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay chart.
After adopting a more stripped-down musical style in the 2010s, Lake achieved his greatest level of success to date. In 2012, he received a Grammy award nomination for his production work on deadmau5’s 4×4 = 12. And in 2017, HOWSLA, the house music compilation he curated alongside Skrillex, hit number one on iTunes Electronic Music chart.
