A Hurricane Harvey relief concert, Night of Hope, will be held at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie in Grand Prairie, Texas on Sept. 20. The concert will feature some of the top Christian artists in the music industry, with 100% of all ticket proceeds going to support relief efforts through Convoy of Hope, according to an announcement on Sept. 6.
Night of Hope is a collaborative effort from Christian radio stations KLTY, WAY-FM, AiR1, and KCBI, and will be produced by Awakening Events. The concert will help the Gulf Coast victims of Hurricane Harvey through Convoy of Hope.
The confirmed line-up of artists includes MercyMe, Casting Crowns, TobyMac, For King & Country, Natalie Grant, Zach Williams, Danny Gokey, Josh Wilson, Phil Wickham, Chonda Pierce, Brandon Heath, Laura Story, Jason Roy of Building 429, Moriah Peters, Tauren Wells, Chris August. Jason Crabb, Plumb, Wayne Watson, and John Tibbs.
The Night of Hope concert will offer the experience of inspirational live music while fans support the cause of helping lift the burden from devastated areas of Texas, where thousands of people have evacuated and lost everything.
Convoy of Hope is a faith-based humanitarian organization that responds to emergencies and disaster relief by sharing supplies, food, water, and more. They are still working on the ground in Texas, helping victims of Hurricane Harvey, and are preparing for Hurricane Irma. The organization helps people who are suffering by mobilizing tens of thousands of volunteers every year. They partner with churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals to do their work.
Tickets for Night of Hope will be available on AXS on Sept. 7. Ticket prices run between $25-$65.
