Code Orange added to System Of A Down's European tour
System Of A Down - B.Y.O.B.

Metal outfit System of a Down are currently working on the follow up to their 2005 Mezmerize/Hypnotize double album, and as expected, there's a lot of pressure on them. Whether it comes out later this year or in early 2018, fans will be ecstatic to hear the act's first new material in 12 years. The band will be quite busy this summer with a slew of dates in Europe, and they didn't want to head overseas without some support from a rising band.

Today, the group revealed that Pittsburgh metalcore outfit Code Orange will join them on a select number of dates in June. The band are touring in support of their new studio album Forever, which peaked at number four on the Hard Rock Albums chart. The outfit are currently touring Europe with Gojira, and next month, the band will return to the U.S. to tour with Killswitch Engage and Anthrax.

All of System of a Down's headlining dates are already sold out, but the outfit will also make festival appearances at Download Festival, Main Square Festival and Park Live Festival. You can check out their entire tour routing below. If you're in the States and hoping for a possible U.S. tour in the near future, you'll just have to wait; the band's last U.S. trek was in 2012 with Deftones.
