Ron White, everyone’s favorite cigar and whiskey-fueled comedian, is bringing that blue collar comedy style of his to Atlanta’s Infinite Energy Theater on Jan. 26. Announced on Friday, the upcoming performance from the 60-year-old veteran jokester will be part of his ongoing North American run, which picks up just after the start of the new year.
White spent much of his summer and fall performing for audiences across the country, in addition to continuing his residency at Las Vegas’ Mirage Hotel and Casino. He’s also currently scheduled to close out his 2017 with five more shows at The Mirage next month. One of his first performances of 2018 is also set to take place at Daytona Beach’s Peabody Auditorium on Jan. 6.
The comedian and “Best-Selling” author has spent much of his career under the bright lights of performance stages, making a global name for himself as part of the Blue Collar Comedy group. More recently, White expanded his entertaining persona by appearing in famed Hollywood director Cameron Crowe’s short-lived Roadies series on Showtime. The rock and roll-centered comedy/drama series covered the stories of life on tour with a rock and roll band, with White playing the role of the band’s veteran tour manager.
As he returns his main focused to performing live in front of an audience, fans in the Duluth area should get their lungs warmed up and ready to be spent of their energy due to a night of laughter.
