Another year has come and gone with 2017 on its way out and 2018, and whatever it may bring, looming ever closer. We still have some time left to take in some live music before the year officially comes to a close, and New Year's Eve is the perfect time to do it. After all, is there a better way to say goodbye to one year and welcome the next? And Denver has plenty of concerts happening for New Year's, from parties packed with today's biggest acts to locals returning to their favorite haunts. Decadence 2017

Railroad Earth

Jamgrass band Railroad Earth is partying all weekend with not one but three shows at the Paramount Theatre. Tickets are on sale now right here on AXS, ranging from $45.50 to $65.50. Last year, the group welcomed 2017 in Portland, where they paid tribute to David Bowie with a cover of "Young Americans"--so who knows? Maybe another exciting cover is in the works for this year. Right after New Year's, the band hits the road starting Jan. 2, with a tour set to last until spring.

Fox Street

Nahko and Medicine for the People

Like Railroad Earth, world music collective Nahko and Medicine for the People are going all weekend long with three shows at the Ogden Theater, along with openers The Late Ones and Tubby Love. Tickets are on sale now right here on AXS, including both individual tickets for $55 and passes for all three shows for $40. Don't worry if you can't make it--you'll have plenty of chances to see Nahko live in 2018 with the extended run of the My Name Is Bear tour through March. No matter when you go, get ready for the show with the recently released video for "Dragonfly," starring Paris Jackson.

New Year's Eve on the Rocks

The beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater is known for its great concerts, but they're finally going all out with a New Year's show to start 2018 right. UPDATE: Due to the weather forecast, this show has been moved to the Magness Arena on the DU campus. Tickets originally purchased for Red Rocks will be honored at the new location. Their New Year's show will feature Migos, Post Malone, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Dizzy Wright, Smoke DZACassidy, and King Green (of RDGLDGRN). Tickets are on sale now right here on AXS, including VIP tickets.
