Concerts and shows in Denver during July 4th week 2018

There will be no shortage of things to do in Denver for the 4th of July.

From fireworks to family events, one’s head will be on a swivel with so much stuff to do in the Mile High City. For those looking for a great concert or show, however, one will be in great luck as the events calendar will be packed with awesome shows and concerts. Here’s the best from the pack.

Zeds Dead
July 3 & 4 @ 5 pm
Red Rocks Amphitheatre -- 183000 W. Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO 80465
(720) 865-2494

No one can restrict a Zeds Dead show to just one date. No, this type of show has to be played out over the July 4th weekend. Zeds Dead will provide the perfect tunes for the weekend of freedom, and both shows are predicted to sell out. So, for those who want to rock Independence Day away, this is a show that shouldn't be missed.

Blue October: I Hope You're Happy Tour
July 1 @ 8 pm
Ogden Theatre -- 935 E. Colfax, Denver, CO 80218
(303) 832-1874

Texas has long played a huge role in shaping the modern foundations of rock, which Blue October is well aware of. This band has made their name stick among the legends of Texas rock, with eight Top 40 singles under their belts, and on the weekend of Independence Day, Blue October will bring a taste of that fine Texas rock to the legendary Ogden Theatre for a night filled with rock goodness.

Colorado Symphony's Family Friendly Fourth of July
July 4 @ 7:30 pm
Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre -- 6350 Greenwood Plaza Blvd., Greenwood Village, CO 80111
(303) 220-7000

A great tradition among Denver families is seeing the Colorado Symphony play under the warm glow of a July day. The Symphony, one of America's best, will entertain families once again on July 4th with their Family Friendly Fourth of July, an event that will combine music, food, and fireworks, all the ingredients that make for a perfect 4th of July.

The Avett Brothers
July 1 @ 5:30 pm
Red Rocks Amphitheatre -- 18300 W. Alameda Pkwy., Morrison, CO 80465
(720) 865-2494

A 4th of July weekend will not properly start without the Avett Brothers. Lucky for Denver fans, the Brothers will be at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre to kick off Independence Day in the Mile High City. Simply put, this is a concert no music fan will want to miss.
