Concerts and shows in Los Angeles Mother's Day weekend 2018

Moms all over the Los Angeles area will be in for a pleasant surprise for Mother’s Day.

Not only will there be a plethora of places where families can celebrate mom, but the region will also have a ton of concerts and shows that those who are looking to do something different for their moms for Mother’s Day will enjoy.

Formed in 1999 in the Windy City, The Lawrence Arms is a trio of rock goodness. Now, with their sixth album out to the masses, The Lawrence Arms are on the road to promote that LP, which will include a stop in Los Angeles at the legendary El Rey Theatre. For moms who are into rock, this is a show that no mother should miss.

Southern California is a gold mine for musical talent, and one of the up-and-comers to burst out from the vibrant L.A. scene has been Echosmith. This trio has recently released their debut EP, Talking Dreams, and it’s a dream to listen to. Also, a dream is seeing Echosmith in person, especially for Mother’s Day, and moms in the Southland will get the chance when they hit the Fonda Theatre on May 12.
