Over 4th of July weekend, Akron is offering plenty of tribute acts over the course of its Rib, White, & Blue festival, from Queen to Bruce Springsteen to The Rolling Stones and more--including, of course, a rib contest. Best of all, the whole thing is free.

Iconic band U2 is one of many classic acts on the road this summer, and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album The Joshua Tree, they're bringing their tour of the same name to FirstEnergy Stadium on July 1. OneRepublic will open. Although tickets are sold out, you can still grab some on the resale market.
