The Denver area is more than ready to celebrate the July 4 holiday. There are a number of great concerts in the area for the holiday weekend. Those looking to get outside and enjoy the day can easily find a show in their favorite genre to attend. Here are just a few options.

Deftones

Alternative rock band Deftones are spending the summer out on a co-headlining tour with Rise Against. The tour will be making a stop in Denver at the Pepsi Center on June 30. Umphrey's McGee

Jam band Umphrey's McGee have built a huge fan base based on their relentless touring schedule. Their sets feature a number of original tracks as well as their own unique take on a number of surprising covers. The show also features Bokante and Snarky Puppy. Queen + Adam Lambert

British rock band Queen are once again touring this summer with vocalist Adam Lambert.
