Controversial comic Andrew Dice Clay to bring ‘Dice’ on the road this summer

Comedian Andrew ‘Dice’ Clay will be taking those dirty nursery rhymes of his on the road this August, just in time for the return of his Showtime series, Dice. The famous controversial funnyman will plan on bringing his unapologetic, Brooklyn-accented show to warm Florida for a short, three-city run starting on Aug. 20 in Jacksonville and wrapping up a few nights later on Aug. 23 in Clearwater.

The second season of his semi-fictional television show will also be airing on Aug. 20, so the famous funny-man should have plenty of material ready to go for fans down in the sunshine state. Clay, who is also a self-professed diehard Guns N’ Roses fan, claimed last spring that he may have been the catalyst that triggered the reunion of Slash, Axl and Duff for what would now be known as their “Not In This Lifetime” tour.

“I don't want to take credit for anything, but I was very aggressive in trying to help this band get back together,” Clay told Rolling Stone in April 2016. “I was in town in Sydney about a half hour and I see Slash having breakfast … And I said, ‘All right, listen. Whatever the problems were 20 years ago, whatever it might have been, we've got to put that to rest, because you guys peaked rock & roll. You're all around and you're the greatest band.’ And he was saying really good stuff about Axl, so that was a good sign to me.

Tickets for Clay’s three Florida shows will go on sale starting this Friday, June 16, at 10 a.m., and can be purchased by clicking here.
