Boston is a city that really comes alive in the fall.

It’s the time of year when Bostonians celebrate their heritage. This is the area, after all, where fall is king, and if you’re in search of the perfect pumpkin for fall, whether it’ll be to make a scary pumpkin for Halloween or that perfect pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, then you should make your way to the patches and farms that will transform into fall wonderlands.  Read further to check out the best pumpkin patches and corn mazes in Boston.

Pickard Farm

Take a ride about 30 minutes outside of Boston’s city limits and you’ll run into this wonderful farm. The Pickard Farm in Littleton has a pick-your-own patch that will be a delight for the family. These pumpkins will still be on the vine, and picking the right pumpkin here will be tough. In addition to the patch, the Pickard Farm will also offer hayrides and more activities that will make this farm a fall playground for all those who come.

There will be plenty of fall fun to be had at this small-town farm. The Connors Farm is currently within their  Family Fall Fun event, and this is an event that produces one of Boston’s best pumpkin patches, with a patch that will produce a large variety of pumpkins at reasonable prices. Also, don’t miss out on Connors Farm’s Flashlight, one that will put a scare in all those who enter it.

This historic farm doesn’t have all of the trappings as some Boston-area farms do. But the Boston Hill Farm in North Andover does have some of the best pumpkins that will be available for the taking during the fall. Whether it’s the scariest pumpkin on Halloween or that famous pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, Boston Hill Farm will not disappoint in your quest for the perfect pumpkin.
