Good news electronic music fans; EDM rising star Crankdat announced plans to conduct an extensive tour of North America starting early next year. On Nov. 28, the 20-year-old producer announced via Twitter that his 2018 Outland Tour will include stops at venues in Seattle, Houston, Dallas, San Diego, New York, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City and Denver, Colo.’s Bluebird Theater. Tickets for what are sure to be one of the most energetic live shows go on sale Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.

Cleveland, Ohio-born Christian “Crankdat” Smith is a man who is very serious about his music. In fact, he abandoned the full ride athletic scholarship to Kent State University to pursue a career in EDM. Despite the tremendous risk involved with such a choice, Smith seems to have made the right call.

His hard-hitting original music and remixes have received more than 150 million streams across various platforms and he’s released a slew of well-received collaborations with high profile artists like T-Pain and Ray Volpe.
