The Grateful Dead tribute band popularly known as Dark Star Orchestra have announced more fall and winter tour dates leading up to New Year’s Eve. The added concerts as part of their North American run will start out on Nov. 10 in Montclair, N.J., and will include a celebration of the band’s 20th anniversary the following night on Nov. 11 in Albany.

The tour will continue to visit both smaller and larger markets leading up to their Cosmic New Year’s Eve residency at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia to close out 2017 with some epic jams. Fans who plan on attending their New Year’s Eve show should make sure to bring their comfortable dancing shoes, as the band will be playing a total of three sets to send 2017 out with a jam instead of their usual two.

Since forming in 1997, the Dark Star Orchestra has carried on the Dead’s tradition of being true road warriors, having played over 2,000 shows in tribute to the former iconic jam band. Members of the original band, including Bob Weir, Phil Lesh and Bill Kreutzmann, have all joined Dark Star on stage in the past.

Tickets for select shows on their upcoming fall run are on sale now, and can be purchased by clicking here.
