David Crosby and Mandolin Orange to join The Avett Brothers for Red Rocks run

2018 will mark the seventh consecutive year The Avett Brothers have headlined Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre and at this point, they're one of the most reliable draws to the legendary venue. They were among the first artists to announce their return to Red Rocks for the 2018 concert season and now we know at least a couple of the artists that will be joining them.

The Avett Brothers will be joined by David Crosby & Friends for the first performance of their three-night stand, as well as Mandolin Orange on night two. The opener for their third show will be announced at a later date.

The Avett Brothers will be performing at Red Rocks June 29-July 1. Members of the Avett Guild can access presale tickets beginning Tuesday, Jan. 16; general on sales begin next Friday, Jan. 19 at 10am local time. Get your tickets to all three shows right here on AXS.com.

In other Avett news, the documentary on the band, “May It Last – A Portrait of the Avett Brothers,” is set to premiere on HBO on Jan. 29. Co-directed by Judd Apatow, “May It Last" focuses on the band's history and the creation of their most recent album, 2016's True Sadness. Watch the trailer for the documentary above.

The Avett Brothers will also be performing on "Megyn Kelly Today" on Jan. 26.
