DDG announces performance at The Roxy spring 2019

Up and coming hip-hop artist, Darryl Granberry Jr., better known by his stage name, DDG, is utilizing all of the technological tools of the millennial age to aid his rise to prominence in the music industry. DDG originally began his journey in the entertainment realm as a YouTube vlogger allowing his supporters an inside look at his family life, entrepreneurial endeavors, and personal relationships. After graduating valedictorian from the Academy of Waterford, the Pontiac, Michigan-native enrolled into Central Michigan University, where he dropped out after gaining notoriety via his YouTube channel. 

Eventually, DDG took a shot at making music and curated his initial first hit single, "Givenchy," which instantaneously went viral in 2017. Since then, DDG has released multiple singles like "Hood Santa," "Take Me Serious," "New Money," and more which have all done relatively well in regards to streaming. Now, with an amassed following of millions of YouTube subscribers and a decent discography, the 21-year-old rapper is preparing to craft his live show experience with an upcoming concert at The Roxy in Los Angeles, California on April 9. 

Tickets for DDG's one-off Los Angeles performance will officially be available for fans this Friday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. PST and can be purchased, here.
