Deep Purple on The Long Goodbye Tour in 2017

Hard rock band Deep Purple will be on an international tour, The Long Goodbye Tour, during the second half of 2017. They will tour with rocker Alice Cooper during the U.S. portion of their tour, which will run from August to September.

Deep Purple has bit the Billboard Top 100 12 times during their long career. Their hits include “Smoke On The Water” (1973), “Hush” (1968), “Kentucky Woman” (1968), “River Deep – Mountain High” (1969), “Woman From Tokyo” (1973), “Knocking At Your Back Door” (1985), “Black Night” (1970) and “Might Just Take Your Life” (1974).

The band released their 20th album, InFinite, in April. Bassist Roger Glover told the stories behind the songs on InFinite in an article on the Deep Purple website on April 10, 2017.

Deep Purple will tour with Alice Cooper in the United States in August and September. In November, Deep Purple will tour in Scandinavia and England. They will appear in South America in December.
